A votive Mass was celebrated at 6:45 am at Christ the King Church in Daphne, AL on Aug 13 for the Feast of our Founder, Blessed Michael McGivney. The main celebrant was our Councils Chaplain, Fr. Johnny Savoie assisted by Brother Knight Deacon Matt Poe. Along with the 60 or so regular attendees, the Mass was attended by 15 Brother Knights. Prayer cards for the Canonization of Blessed McGivney were handed out to attendees entering the church and Mass Lector Brother Marty Felsman lead the prayer during the General Mass Intentions prior to the start of Mass.
